The only standard for comparison I have is the MTM AC15 Mini can. I have several of those, and they're what I call "range day size", a few hundred rounds of whatever caliber you choose. These are about the same size as the Mini, but more robust. The polymer is stiffer, with more reinforcing gussets, and the hinge and latch are heavier duty. They will stack and nest with the Mini with only a slight bit of sliding, but will stay stacked. You can't beat them for quality for the cost, and when on sale, they're almost 2 for 1.

It seems well built, holds the pain pellets as designed, and both the locking mechanism and handle are sturdy. The size is a little smaller than I expected but it fits better on the shelf in my gun safe.
Perfect size for storing Projectiles, cases, and of course ammo. They fit two (2) deep on the metal shelves I have.

getting ride of metal cans cut down the weight 0t taking ammo to the range. When you are 87 weight is very important.
